Mathematics

Pupils arriving to the school in year 7 with a level 3 or lower will follow the level 3 to 5 programme of study, those arriving with a level 4 will follow the level 4 to 6 programme of study and those arriving with a level 5 or better will follow the level 5 to 7 programme of study. These courses will run over two years (year 7 and 8). In year 9 pupils will continue developing their mathematical skills at the appropriate level and also work towards Functional Skills examinations during the Spring Term.

From the start of the summer term Year 9 will commence their GCSE studies
