Students visit Hereford’s hisotical sites

On Tuesday 25th June, Mrs Hossack & Mrs Everard had the pleasure of taking a group of Year 7 students to visit local historical places in Hereford.

We started the day with a visit to our magnificent Cathedral, where we explored and discovered amazing facts about our city.

We then visited the Hereford Museum, where we were delighted to find the missing cannon ball from the city walls. After a quick hop over the road we went to the Catholic Church to compare the different architecture.

Finally, we finished our day of exploring with a tour of the city after an invitation from the Mayor to visit our city’s treasures, and wow! We were amazed. We discovered why Hereford is a city and had the honor to see the city’s great charters, dating back to the 13th century.

Mrs Hossack & Mrs Everard would to make a special mention to the Year 10 work experience students who discovered the joys of taking students on trips well done.
