Academic Tutoring

Academic Tutoring is about making the idea of 'high expectation' a reality for each student. To achieve this, there must be someone who knows, motivates, supports and praises the student - this person generally being the tutor. A good academic mentoring policy will also involve other key staff for identified individual students, notably pastoral managers and the Senior Leadership Team.

On these days, targets set on the first day in November 2008 will be reviewed and there will be a new focus to consider. All students will remain in school on this day - parents/carers have been invited to attend the review with their child.
