To develop the skills and experience that would be necessary for working in the public services. You will be assessed by a variety of methods including written and practical work. (Practical 40%. Coursework 60%)

6 units - 3 Compulsory units and 3 Optional units

  • Skills for Land-based Outdoor and Adventurous Activities
  • Skills for Water-based Outdoor and Adventurous Activities
  • Crime and its effects on society
  • Command and Control in the Uniformed Public Services
  • The Planning for and Management of major incidents
  • Responding to emergency service incidents
  • Uniformed Public Services employment.
