In order to work effectively, Academies have to obtain, store, share, or use personal data of students, families and staff.  The Data Protection Act 2018 and supporting legislation are designed to protect the privacy of individuals.  They require any personal information about an individual to be processed securely and confidentially.

Here at The Hereford Academy and The Diocese of Hereford Multi Academy Trust we recognise that your personal data is sensitive and private and we take your privacy seriously.  We acknowledge that everyone, adults and students alike, have the right to know how the information held about them is used and to feel confident that the Academy and Trust are protecting it.

As such we have a robust Data Protection Policy and Privacy Notices which set out what data we hold, how we process it and how we dispose of it.  The documents also explain how to access or request changes to any information you feel is inaccurate.
