Wisepay
We operate a cashless payment system within the Academy to assist students and families with paying for any school expenses. It is the quick and easy way to pay for school trips, books etc, but particularly catering. This saves considerable time and frustration during break and lunchtimes, ensuring your child does not spend their break queueing, meaning they can make the most of their breaktime meeting new friends and getting some fresh air.
The system is safe and secure and has the following advantages:
It avoids you having to give your child cash to bring to school
You can top up and make payments on-line using debit/credit/payment cards at your convenience
You are in control – choose to pay weekly in advance, or daily (before 11 am). You can also set daily spend limits.
You can also set a daily spend limit so you do not have to worry about putting amounts onto your child’s account every day.
You can monitor what your child is eating.

The system uses biometric information for student accounts, which is simpler and more secure than a password or card. A scan of your child’s finger will be taken and turned into a code. This code number will be stored in the system and linked to your child’s finger scan, to identify them whenever they use the tills. We can reassure you that actual finger scans are not stored on this system and that biometric data will not be shared with any other organisation. We can only gather this finger-scan information from students with the permission of parents/carers.
