Just a reminder of Rotary writing competition.  There are trophies and cash prizes (£100, £50 & £25) for the top 3 winners in each age category with a further £100 for the schools that the two 1st place winners attend.   The age categories are 7-11 and 12-16 years. 

 

Students can send either a poem (40 lines max) or a piece of prose (550 words max).  All entrants will receive a certificate of participation and the winning entries will be forwarded to the Rotary District competition finals. 
 

Closing date for the competition is 6pm on Monday 28th September 2020.

Open Day Tours

 

Year 6 Parents, following our very successful Open Evening on the 16th September, we want you to come and see how The Hereford Academy has changed.  We were delighted with the overwhelmingly positive feedback from Open Evening and are inviting you to see our Academy in action.  Come and experience our calm and purposeful learning environment, come and see how our amazing teachers and students have risen to the challenges that COVID-19 has presented us with.

• Students from Marlbrook have tour appointments available on the 29th September and 5th October
   
• Students from St Martins have tour appointments available on 30th September and 6th October
   
• Students from Riverside have tour appointments available on 1st October and 7th October
   
• Students from other primary schools have tour appointments available on 2nd October and 8th October

 

Please be aware that due to COVID-19 we are strictly limiting numbers and ask that only the Y6 child and one adult attends.  We will need to take contact information for track and trace.
