Out of School Learning

12th March 2020

Dear Parent/Carer

Out of School Learning

I would like to take this opportunity to share with you some of the ways in which your child can continue to study during the holidays or in the event of an absence during school time.

There are a number of key websites students can access that contain revision guides, study tips and online quizzes. For easy access to the websites described below please see the online version of this letter on the school website which has active links to all of the pages described.

bbc.co.uk/bitesize contains material for students in both KS3 and KS4 and is free to use. This should be student’s first place to look when studying any topic or course.

GCSE Pod – Students have access to the subject content for all their GCSE courses.

Students also have access to their own email account accessed from office.com selecting sign in at the bottom of the screen and logging in with their school log-ins,  followed by @theherefordacademy.org.uk and then their account passwords.

For example: 19JohnsonBT@theherefordacademy.org.uk

Please note these are the same usernames and passwords students use to log into the computers in school.
